MICRO-TOUCH™
Our proprietary Micro-Touch manufacturing process not only improves yield by reducing the forces that distort substrates during the imprinting process, but also allows for the introduction of more fragile substrates such as polymers or ultra-thin glass. We continue to enhance our waveguide manufacturing capabilities through new equipment and processes to improve yields, add features, increase performance, and boost production rates.
VUZIX INCOGNITO™
We enable customers to keep their viewing content discreet. This technology virtually eliminates the display of forward-facing content visible on other waveguide-based devices. That makes Vuzix waveguides ultra-efficient at managing light flow, enhancing low light optical performance and improving the display contrast. What you get is an even clearer image with no impact on battery power, and the confidence that your content is for your eyes only.
JUMBO FORMAT WAVEGUIDES
Jumbo format waveguides, which can be many times larger than a traditional near eye waveguide, represent a significant leap forward in display technology, offering unparalleled clarity, brightness, and immersion. Our large-scale see-through displays deliver impressive visual fidelity, and are enabling use cases in the automotive, retail, medical, enterprise, aviation and defense industries.
VUZIX LIGHTBANK™
Vuzix Lightbank is composed of a complex plastic polymer substrate that delivers a lighter-than-glass solution that's fully compatible with integrated vision correction. Plastic polymer waveguides can offer comparable refractive indexes of 1.6 or greater, allowing for wide fields of view. Best of all, plastic polymer waveguides are several times lighter than any comparable sized waveguide on the market, making Vuzix Lightbank the lightest, most durable class of waveguides ever created.
Vuzix Core™ Waveguides
Our off-the-shelf class of waveguides, Vuzix Core wafers can be manufactured to support varying fields of view between 20° and 40°, with a completely configurable range of aspect ratios. They offer among the highest efficiency and transmission indexes to deliver a natural and comfortable viewing experience. Designed for compatibility with a variety of full color display engines, Vuzix Core can be combined with other waveguide innovations such as Vuzix Incognito.
